Hi, I’m Vanesa Esteban, a website designer and developer from South Africa. I build websites, improve SEO, and solve technical challenges by hand. AI helps where it makes sense, but the judgment is always mine.
I started in freelance design, then moved through e-learning and agency work, and now lead service delivery for a US-based media company. WordPress became home base along the way, though I'm just as comfortable picking up a different builder when a project needs it. That pull toward learning carried me into front-end development, SEO, and automation. AI is part of the process now too, but the thinking is still mine.
Some days I'm building WordPress websites. Other days I'm improving SEO, creating content, or setting up automations. I enjoy finding practical ways to connect systems and make them work better together.
I build WordPress websites using Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. WordPress is home base, but I'm just as comfortable in Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, or Zoho Sites when a project calls for it.
I work with the SEO team on on-site improvements, including metadata, technical SEO, content updates, internal linking, and landing pages for ad campaigns.
I test websites across devices and resolve issues with WordPress, plugins, hosting, responsive layouts, and custom code to keep websites running smoothly.
I build, test, troubleshoot, and deliver website features from start to finish. I use reusable code, AI, and efficient workflows to complete projects independently.
A few of the websites I've designed, built, and delivered across a range of industries over the years.
